Yorklands Cleanup

Ontario Reformatory

The Historic Yorklands Site (Ontario Reformatory) is an important natural area in the City of Guelph, right on the shores of Eramosa River and consists of several ponds and waterways that offer rich wildlife habitats. Over the summer months debris does accumulate on the shores of the ponds and our goal is to remove some of the visible litter before it ends up in the waterways during the winter storms. Join us on October 24th as we explore the area and remove debris from the shorelines.

During our last community cleanup on September 20th, we removed over 200kg of debris from local waterways and shorelines. With your help we aim to make a positive difference on October 24h as well — please sign up below so we can ensure sufficient cleaning supplies.
