Collingwood Harbour

On a stroll through Collingwood Harbor we found only a few pieces of debris (mismatched socks, pieces of tarp, plastic wrappers), but a significant number of beer cans and bottles from the green fields near the silo. In total we picked up 20 cans and 18 bottles and transported them back to recycling. As common across most parks and green spaces after the recycling rules were changes, there’s a complete lack of recycling facilities, which likely increases the number of recyclables that end up in the wrong place.
